Choice of Words Based on Meaning in Rhoma Irama Songs with Environmental Themes

چکیده
This study aims to describe the word choices contained in Rhoma Irama songs with environmental themes that are seen based on meaning of these songs. The methods used this include stages data collection, analysis and presentation results. At stage it is obtained through literature techniques, listening, taking notes. research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. source was from 7 environmentally themed entitled (1) Anak Kera , (2) Anjing dan Sampah (3) Bencana (4) Di Tepi Pantai (ft. Lata Mangeshkar ), (5) Kemarau (6) Malapetaka (7) Mata Air . results showed an theme contain choice words lexical types, grammatical meanings, connotative denotative associative meanings terms, figurative meanings.
